I installed a widget to monitor the weather in Brussels.  In Boston, it's currently 35° and snowy.  I am bundled under blankets and considering taking a cab to work instead of dealing with the gross T and shuttle bus.  In Brussels, it is 47° and rainy.  All week it looks like the weather is the same there as here, just 10° warmer (that's °F of course - I should start getting used to thinking about temperature in °C I suppose)

I just learned that they don't have Starbucks in Belgium.  I feel about this the same way I feel about the entire move to Belgium.  Excited and full of promise and also a bit terrified.
